Frozen Waterfall is located in Azat Gorge. As is known, in Armenia there are not only rapid and cascading waterfalls, but also frozen waterfalls. The latter are ice waterfalls that are formed only in winter from thin streams of water flowing from crevices in the mountains. Azat Gorge waterfall is invisible in summer: You can’t even see how the water flows down the cliff, but in the cold winter months this water freezes, creating an impressive picture of ice frozen in the air. The waterfull is really beautiful.
