Vahagn Waterfall is one of four waterfalls located in the territory of the «Khosrov Forest» State Reserve. The waterfall was named in honor to the pagan God of fire and war Vahagn in the ancient Armenian mythology. Vahagn Waterfall is mythologically connected with Astghik Waterfall: in the pagan pantheon Astghik was the Goddess of beauty and fertility, Vahagn's wife.

You can get to Vahagn Waterfall by jeep or UAZ, then by hiking (the total length of the hiking route is about 2 km; the hiking is of medium difficulty; the last 200 m are quite difficult).
