The lake of white water lilies is located in the Lori region of Armenia, 1.2 km northeast of Urasar village.
Unique white water lily (Nymphaea alba L) grows in the lake, it is one of the most beautiful plants of the Armenian Highland, listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Armenia. Activities related to white water lily are regulated by the Armenian legislation. White water lily has a short flowering period (from July to August); water lilies bloom only in the Lori region.
