The first stop of the tour is Sevanavank Monastery (4th century), which is included in the list of UNESCO cultural heritage sites. The first church of the complex was built in 305 by Gregory the Illuminator. This monastery is also known as "Mariamashen", i.e. "built by Mariam". An inscription found on one of the churches testifies that Sevanavank was founded by Princess Mariam in 874.

The next stop of our trip is Dilijan town, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations. Historian Grigor Pahlavuni said about Dilijan: "If the Lord one day wishes to visit Armenia, I will bring him to Hovk (Dilijan)."

In Dilijan we will see a unique historical street of Sharambeyan, where we will feel the breath of the old Dilijan of the 19th century. In the area there is a cafe, restaurant, bakery, and other interesting places representing the special life of the 19th century. Various craftsmen (potters, carpenters) exhibit their works in the territory of the street, that is why the street is often called the "street of carftsmen". Nearby we will also see a monument to the heroes of the "Mimino" film, where three main characters of the popular film are embodied: Frunzik Mkrtchyan (Rubik Khachikyan), Yevgeny Leonov (Ivan Volokhov) and Vakhtang Kikabidze (Valiko Mizandari).

The next stop is the Jukhtak Monastery located 3 km northeast of Dilijan town, on a mountain’s slope. It consists of two churches from hewn felsite, i.e. Surb Astvatsatsin and Surb Grigor (the folk name "Jukhtak" comes from here, which in translation from Armenian means "paired"). The inscriptions carved into the walls of the churches also mention the Gisheravank name and Petrosi vank (Petros Monastery). Surb Astvatsatsin Church was built by the efforts of Abbot Hayrapet in 1201. The Church of Surb Grigor is a central-domed structure, presumably built earlier than the Surb Astvatsatsin Church.

Today we will have a yoga class in the dense forests of Dilijan.

Matosavank Monastery is another treasure of Dilijan, which is located on a forest plateau opposite the mountain on which the Jukhtak Monastery is located. A group of medieval buildings consists of three adjacent buildings: a church, a vestibule and a book depository. There is a medieval cemetery near the buildings. The church was built of large semi-finished stones in 1205.
