We will start our journey from the Sevanavank Monastery, which is located on the Sevan peninsula. The first church of the monastery complex was built on the island of Sevan in 305 by Gregory the Illuminator. The monastery of Sevanavank is also known as "Mariamashen" that is, "built by Mariam". An inscription on one of the churches testifies that Sevanavank was founded by Princess Mariam in 874.
After getting acquainted with the Sevanavank Monastery, we will have a boat trip in Lake Sevan to the Gulls Island. The duration of the boat trip is about 2 hours. On the yacht we will be treated with tea, coffee and sweets. We will also stop to feed the gulls, which are countless here, which will give You an unforgettable impressions.
After returning to the shore, we will have a rest on one of the cleanest beaches of Sevan. Pork and fish delicious barbecue prepared on spot will wait for us in a cool pavilion. We will aslo enjoy nice music here.
