Khor Virap Monastery (in translation meaning "deep dungeon"). The monastery is located above the underground prison, where by the legend Gregory the Illuminator spent 13 years thrown here by the Armenian King Trdat III for the preaching of Christianity. Here you can go down to the underground dungeon, which is located inside the chapel of St. Gregory the Illuminator. In the territory of the Monaster you can also participate in white dove release ceremony (optional). From the territory of the monastery you will admire the wonderful view of biblical Mount Ararat.
Noravank Monastery (the 13th century)
Areni Cave, where the oldest shoe in the world was found (which is 5500-year old). Wine was also produced here more than 6,000 years ago.

Visit to the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex (dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915).
Visit to Etchmiadzin town, which has a special place in the spiritual life of Armenians. It was here, in the ancient Armenian capital Vagharshapat, that Christianity was officially proclaimed as the state religion of Armenia in 301, and the Etchmiadzin Cathedral (4th century) was built after the vision of St. Gregory the Illuminator about the coming of the Son of God in 301-303. Here you will also see the Church of Surb Hripsime (7th century), the Church of Surb Gayane (4-7th centuries), the Church of Surb Shoghakat (17th century).
Visit to the Zvartnots temple built in 641-661 under Catholicos Nerses, at the meeting place of the Armenian king Trdat with Gregory the Illuminator, the first preacher of Christianity in Armenia, released from fifteen-year captivity. The temple was destroyed by a strong earthquake in 930. The ruins of the temple were excavated at the beginning of the 20th century.

Here you can learn how to cook traditional Armenian tolma, lavash in tonir, sweet sujukh, national pastries, as well as take part in other master classes, for example, in pottery, carpet weaving, drawing, winemaking, learn how to make dolls or sew traditional Armenian taraz.
