This time we offer a cultural and historical tour over the Armavir region of Armenia. Within the framework of the tour we will visit the «Sardarapat» memorial complex. The complex symbolizes the historical victory of the Armenian armed formations over the regular Turkish army during the Sardarapat Battle in 1918. The State Museum of Ethnography is located on the territory of the memorial.The thousands of exhibits representing the history of Armenia from the Early Bronze Age to the present day are kept here. The museum also has a collection of 20,000 Armenian carpets.

The next stop is the "Metsamor" historical and archaeological reserve-museum on the territory of which there is located ancient fortress of the old city of Metsamor. Since 1965, excavations have been carried out in Metsamor. The excavated cultural layers date back to the Bronze and Iron Ages. The excavations show that in the Bronze Age (IV-II millennium BC) Metsamor was a flourishing cultural center having an observatory.

Then we will go to Aknalich village, where the world's largest Yezidi temple Ziarat built in 2012 is locateed. The architecture of the temple has traditional construction consisting of a cone-shaped dome made of stone lined with marble.

            The last point of our trip is the «Zvartnots» temple of the 7th century.
