Boghakar Waterfall is located on the eastern slopes of the Zangezur Mountains in the Syunik region of the Republic of Armenia, in the territory of the «Boghakar» Reserve. The reserve was created in 1989, its area is 2728 hectares, it is located on the slopes of the Zangezur Range, at an altitude of 1400-2100 m. The purpose of the creation of the reserve is to protect endemic and rare species of plants and animals.
You can get to Boghakar Waterfall by car or by hiking. The total length of the hiking route is 15 km.
