The two-tiered Archajur Waterfall is located not far from Lorut village in the Syunik region of the Republic of Armenia, on a tributary of the Marts river. The height of the waterfall is 8 meters. According to a legend, bears once bathed here, that is why the waterfall was called Archajur, which in translation from Armenian means "bear water".
