The first stop is in Ashtarak town, where we will visit the Karmravor Church (the 7th century), the most well-preserved church in Ashtarak, the Surb Mariane Church (the 13th century), the Tsiranavor Church (the 4th-5th centuries) and the Spitakavor Church (the 5th-6th centuries).

The next stop is a visit to the tomb of the Arshakuni kings in Akhtsk (the 4th century)

Then we will move to Byurakan and visit the Surb Hovhannes Church. This architectural monument is a single-nave basilica-type church. The construction of the church is attributed to Catholicos Hovhannes V Draskhanakertsi (898-929), but there are serious grounds to believe that the church was built much earlier.

            Then we will walk (easy hiking) to the Artavazik Church, which is located near Byurakan, in a gorge. The church was built in the 7th century of red and black tuff and has a cross-shaped dome. The church was rebuilt for the first time in the 12th century, and for the second time in 1959-1960. As a result of the flood of 1840, the church was badly damaged. In the Armenian church architecture of the medieval period the Artavazik Church stands out for its originality. It is mentioned in historical sources, however, unfortunately, the inscriptions in the church itself have not survived. According to one of hypotheses, the church was named Artavazd in honor of its builder. Today, the church is in a dilapidated state. The prayer room and dome are destroyed.

The last point of the tour is «Zipwine». Here, those who wish can enjoy zipline, play tennis, taste wine, have dinner or just relax.
